Book discussion with Kjetil B. Alstadheim about the EU
What can we learn from Norway's relationship with the EU? How has the debate evolved since the referendums in 1972 and 1994? And what does today's political landscape mean for Norway's connection to Europe?
In this book discussion, we meet Kjetil B. Alstadheim, political editor at Aftenposten, who takes us into his book "Everyone Was Wrong About EU—The Country Norway". With sharp analyses and historical retrospectives, Alstadheim explores how the EU question has shaped Norwegian politics—and how old truths are continuously challenged.
The conversation will delve into the key dilemmas, misjudgments, and lessons from Norway's EU debate, offering a fresh perspective on an issue that continues to divide and engage.
