Niilas // Sámi National Day
With deep basslines, pulsating beats, and an Arctic aesthetic, Niilas creates hypnotic soundscapes. Known for his spectacular live performances, he brings a special setup for an experimental and unique show you won’t want to miss!
From his Spellemann-winning debut album Also This Will Change to his latest release River Of Noise, composer, artist, and sound designer Peder Niilas Tårnesvik has firmly established his place in the Norwegian music scene. Niilas is the artist who creates commercial remixes for Astrid S & Gabifuego in the same week that he performs for Queen Sonja at the Venice Biennale.
By weaving together electronic beats, deep bass, and melancholic melodies, he crafts shimmering soundscapes, deeply rooted in his Sámi heritage and Arctic aesthetics. Known for his energetic and spectacular live performances, Niilas is an artist who defies definition—but always leaves the audience wanting more.
Niilas is coming to Samfundet to celebrate Sámi National Day with the audience. He brings a special setup for the occasion and is excited to present a truly unique and experimental performance!
