The Bråkefestival
Angry at the semester? Annoyed at some dude? Ready to scream from the general geopolitical situation? I have got the place for you.
Samfundet once again invites you to Bråkefestival! An evening featuring three Bråke-bands filling this dark Trondheim night with aggressive wavelengths.
This year’s lineup:
| Time | Band |
|---|---|
| 21:00 | Slow Country |
| 22:00 | Nykter |
| 23:00 | Klepto |
SLOW COUNTRY
The Trondheim quartet Slow Country combines noisy forest-lanerock with soothing dream-pop for the ultimate intro-extrovert experience.
Inspired by the noise of My Bloody Valentine, the atmosphere of Beach House, and the soundscapes of Bowery Electric, Slow Country puts their own spin on DIY-driven shoegaze.
Guitars drenched in hazy fuzz, laid-back drums and bass, flowing vocals, and a healthy dose of feedback and electronic noise make the band stand out in their live performances.
The band existed in different constellations and variations before finding their sound, and since then they’ve played at events such as Edgarfestivalen in 2024 and on Oslo’s Revolver stage together with young shoegaze veterans Astronomies in the summer of 2025.
With more music on the horizon, Slow Country released their first single “Who Goes There?” in June 2025, earning strong reviews from, among others, the music magazine blankmood.
The band consists of Johan Kalvsjøhagen (guitar/vocals), Henrik Wike Wallumrød (guitar), Simen Kvalvåg Navestad (bass — “nice, cool, handsome, and fun to be around”), and Finn Løvli (Pitch Avery, k.Ph.) on drums
NYKTER
Nykter is one of the freshest things you’ll find on the punk scene from Trondheim, and a band that doesn’t take any prisoners. Self-proclaimed as “the hottest band from UFFA,” they’ve already managed to win over audiences in a short time with their live shows.
With references from traditional punk, hardcore, and shoegaze, Nykter creates music with playful lyrics and heavy riffs. This is an energy bomb you don’t want to miss.
KLEPTO
Klepto is a punk band made up of three girls from the heart of Trondheim. Since 2023, they’ve shared their music across multiple stages in Trøndelag. Get ready for cheeky riffs, pounding drums, and screaming vocals
