Sunday Documentary: Guacho Gaucho (2024)
A visual masterpiece that portrays the traditional lifestyle of the Gaucho people in Argentina.
In this strikingly beautiful black-and-white documentary, we are introduced to one of the most fascinating cultures in Latin America: the Argentine Gaucho culture. In northwestern Argentina, among majestic mountains and vast plains, the Gaucho people maintain their traditional cowboy way of life. We meet proud, maté-drinking cowboys and gain an exclusive insight into how family traditions are kept alive.
Gaucho Gaucho is a poignantly beautiful portrait of a culture that has resisted modern influence like no other.
