Øyehaug

Trondheim-based Ørsta rapper Øyehaug’s music can be described as sample-based hip hop with a slightly dusty feel. He writes everything from deeply personal lyrics to hard-hitting bars over jazzy, soul-infused instrumentals. With recommendations from P3 and praise from Musikkmagasinet, Øyehaug has gained attention in the Norwegian hip hop underground for both his production and rapping. He recently released his fourth album, Von dess, which explores even further into the experimental rap territory that defines Øyehaug’s sound.

Isbit

Isbit blends jazz, funk, and pop into a fresh, atmospheric soundscape that feels both playful and organic. With strong melodies, a solid groove at the core, and a collective expression, they create music that feels youthful and genre-crossing. The band released their first single in the summer of 2024 and already plans to further develop their universe with new releases and live shows.

Isbit consists of six musicians with diverse backgrounds but a shared drive to write music together: Sondre Scheffler, Sofus Gauksås, Herman Liene, Hector Hammer, Ellida Hol Meling, and Nathaniel Tveit Strømsvold.

It Came From Beneath

It Came from Beneath is a Trondheim-based experimental rock band playing instrumental music. They combine the hard-hitting riffs and rawness of metal with the unpredictability and sincerity of jazz. Heavily inspired by bands such as Kanaan and Fucales, they deliver wonderfully peculiar underground music.

Over the past year, they have played a number of sold-out shows around Trondheim, including at Verkstedhallen and Fru Lundgrens, and released a live album this summer, Live From Beneath.
