Hundzig
Hundzig is a newly formed solo project with a fixed band, most of whom are based in Trondheim. Hundzig’s first single (and EP), recorded at Brygga Studio in the city center, will be released in January, and the live debut fittingly takes place at the 23:59 Festival.
The music is inspired by artists such as New Order, Beach House, Alex Turner, and Elias Rønnenfelt. Hundzig is both raw and comforting at the same time. Expect scrappy guitars, lush synths, and occasional post-punk on stage.
The band consists of August Alver Solli, Jakob Palmer Kverndokk (Vrengt, Museum, Palmer), Johannes Gartland (Villskudd, Palmer), Simon Torsvik Thingnes (Moreller, Palmer), Hugo Hegdahl, and Emil Borgen.
Witness a brand-new debut artist presenting a carefully crafted project.
Defusion
Defusion is a progressive/alternative rock band from Bodø, consisting of Aisha Ludvigsen Wahome, Isabel Mjelde Karlsen, Fredrik Lindseth, and Julius Krokslett. The band draws inspiration from anything that allows them to be creative and describes their music as being in a state of extreme crisis mode.
In a short amount of time, they have made a strong impression, and in the autumn of 2023 they were selected to be part of NRK P3 Urørt and Sigrid’s unique music collaboration, where they had the opportunity to open for Sigrid on her Norway tour. They have also played festivals such as Buktafestivalen, Musikkfestuka, Blåfrostfestivalen, and Parkenfestivalen, and have won two national band competitions: Rock mot rus and Imagine Norway.
The band has also performed two international shows: at Botanique in Brussels and in Trenčín, Slovakia, during the Garáz Festival (2024).
Defusion released their debut single “One Way Window” in 2023, followed by their first album “Pandemonium” in September 2025. If you’re ready to have your soul ripped from your body and break free from the physical world through powerful music, Defusion is definitely for you.
Klepto
After the drummer went into hibernation in Scotland over the past six months, Klepto is ready for a comeback! The closing concert at the 23:59-Festival will mark their third year as a force filling Trondheim with “faanskap” and the spirit of good old rock ’n’ roll. Last Halloween, they released the enigmatic single Glemte Gater, setting the tone for a new era of music from the band. The three girls have no intention of stopping anytime soon and invite everyone, young and old, to put on their rock shoes and cut loose while they play.
