Afrobeat with Kjellerbandet
Kjellerbandet is playing for an evening filled with African rhythms, singing and dancing.
Kjellerbandet will play an Afrobeat concert with songs written by Fela Kuti and arranged by members of the band.
The music is a combination of West African musical traditions with American funk and jazz, and was used to criticize abuse of power, military forces and injustice.
Events at the Student Society can be adapted for visitors with movement and hearing impairment. See here for more information.
