It's the perfect activity if you want to slow down during Orientation Week, explore your taste buds, and meet fellow beer enthusiasts while enjoying brews from Daglighallen.
After the tasting, A Cultural Evening continues with events around Samfundet, making it the perfect way to kick off the rest of the evening!

Party screening: Stop Making Sense (1984)
SAME AS IT EVER WAS
Stop making sense is simply the best concert movie ever made. It does not matter if you’re not a Talking Heads fan. It does not matter if you’ve never heard a single song before, or ever felt joy. All of these things come naturally when watching this film. It is difficult to describe how good this movie is, it is in most ways like being there at the actual concert. It’s as if the energy travels through time through the film and you’re standing there ready to dance with David Byrne as if it was 1984. And yes of course the dance floor is ready.

23:00-02.00 // Klubben
DJ Bebusk
Launches drums into space and lifts your feet off the ground with a blend of techno, garage, and DnB.

Vrengt
Over the past few years, Vrengt has established itself as one of the most exciting and raw bands in the Norwegian underground rock scene, known for its high-energy and always unpredictable live performances.
The band consists of five friends from Moss, blending a hard-hitting indie rock and power pop foundation with frequent detours into punk, post-punk, psychedelic rock, and garage rock. Their close ties to the acclaimed alternative Lyse Netter Festival in their hometown are especially evident on their latest release, Sikre passasjerer – Live hos Emil Nikolaisen (Safe Passengers – Live at Emil Nikolaisen's), where they teamed up with one of Norway's most influential cult figures in alternative rock to capture the band's electrifying live energy on tape.
"Indie" in every sense of the word, Vrengt has earned critical acclaim for performances at festivals including Trondheim Calling, Lyse Netter, and Egersund Visefestival. In the autumn of 2024, they embarked on a highly successful self-organised club tour across Norway—despite the considerable financial risk—and quickly realised that doing things on their own terms suited them perfectly.
With their long-awaited debut album on the horizon and an increasingly fearless and explosive stage presence, Vrengt is now ready for Skala.
23:59 // Storsalen
Lokal Samling
Lokal Samling is an Oslo-based rock band. They have dubbed their genre "olabilrock" perhaps best described as a blend of garage rock and naive pop. They tackle major existential themes, disguised by everyday, down-to-earth lyrics, as well as small seemingly trivial problems blown completely out of proportion.
Lokal Samling’s debut album, “Jeg mener det”, earned them spots on Spotify playlists such as "New Music Friday," "Norsk Rock," and "Indielista," along with a recommendation from P3 Urørt. GAFFA notes that "Lokal Samling understands the potential of the rock genre. Both their sound and their lyrical world reveal a love for music, and a band that takes both the music and themselves just seriously enough, and just unseriously enough."
