What do you get when two lonely souls meet in a karaoke bar in Helsinki? “The best film of the year.”
“Fallen Leaves” is a tragicomic film about how life can hit you in the face, especially when you are simply trying to find happiness. Two people meet one evening in Helsinki, both searching for the love of their life; but with an alcoholic protagonist, a lost phone number, and a failure to exchange names, things might prove more difficult than necessary…
We can’t help but root for the ordinary human desire for a happy life, and relate to the unexpected obstacles that appear along the way.
