Help! We’re Playing Banjo! with Blaagress Banden
The unthinkable has happened. The Americanization of Norway has not only made its way into our political climate, fashion industry, social media, public discourse, or the language we speak. It has also taken over what we hold dearest of all: music. What does this mean? Well…
STUDENTERSAMFUNDET HAS A NEW BAND!
“Help, We’re Playing Banjo!” is the first official concert by Blaagress Banden here at the house since the band was formed in spring 2026, and they are holding nothing back. Fiddle? We’ve got two! Double bass and mandolin? You bet! Guitars are available in abundance (two), and, last but certainly not least, we have an almost excessive number of banjos.
Come to Skala on October 15 at 9:00 PM to experience some authentic bluegrass music!
There will be bluegrass, country, old-time and western music — both old classics and new takes!
In other words, this is not something you’ll want to miss.
Entrance: Edgar
Doors: 20:45
Events at the Student Society can be adapted for visitors with movement and hearing impairment. See here for more information.
