BASSETOURNAMENT

A basse tournament will be held on Saturday, October 24th, at 9:30 PM in Origo (located between Edgar and Daglighallen).
Be there or be blakka (busted/eliminated) on the court!
To celebrate the return of basse, we’re hosting an event featuring an MC, a Trøndelag-adopted DJ—"Karan med varan"—colorful lighting, a lounge area, and prizes!
Come compete for the title of Samfundet’s best basse player! The winner walks away with 500 NOK in cash and a "golden basse." But to reach the top, you’ll have to defeat, among others, world champion Martin Thomassen—who is already on the participant list.
For those unfamiliar with basse, it’s a sport from Trøndelag where the goal is to land the basse (strips of bicycle inner tubes tied together with string) into your opponents' designated squares. You can use any part of your body except your hands—in practice, this mostly means using your feet and legs.
It’s a low-threshold activity, open to everyone, and great for both body and soul. Show up at 9:30 PM sharp—you might just head home a bit richer, earning eternal recognition from both Samfundet and the Trøndelag region!

Footwear requirements:
Shoes with sharp, pointed toes, heavy-duty leather boots (beksømstøvler), work boots with steel toes, and track-and-field shoes with spikes are NOT permitted.
