Infection Control

Studentersamfundet is taking every precaution to make sure that you as a guest can experience the student culture and life in Trondheim in a safe manner. We have developed guidelines to ensure this, and we ask all visitors to follow and respect them. We also ask you to listen to and follow information given by volunteers and employees at Studentersamfundet. These are the most important things you must know as a guest:

  • Samfundet prioritises its members during the COVID-19 period, but there are possibilites for non-members as well. Read more further down.
  • We have only seating.
  • There is a maximum of 8 people per seating group.
  • Do not mingle between the seating groups.
  • There is table booking and table service in all venues except Storsalen and Lyche. Information about this can be found on the table cards on each table.
  • We recommend using a face mask
  • When queuing (for example at entrances or toilets), keep one meter away from the person in front of you.
  • Hands should be disinfected when you enter a new room at Samfundet.
  • Have a clear idea of ​​which entrance and zone to use, see Zones and entrances.
  • Keep distance from other guests and those who are at work, and be considerate.
  • Do not go to Samfundet if you have symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Always bring your membership card when you come to Samfundet.

Zones and entrances
Samfundet is currently divided into zones that use different entrances, where each zone has a capacity of up to 200 people. It is not possible to move between the zones inside the house. Please also see the illustration at the bottom.

Red zone (entrance A - main entrance) - Storsalen and Rundhallen
Blue zone (entrance B - Glass entrance) - Bodegaen and Strossa
Purple zone (entrance B - Glass entrance) - Klubben
Yellow zone (entrance C - entrance to Lyche) - Lyche
Green zone (entrance D - the back door) - Edgar, Daglighallen and Selskapssiden

Registration system and drop-in
There is a drop-in in all open rooms without events every day, even on weekends. The opening hours of all the venues can be found here. For free events, a registration system is used. An overview of the events at Samfundet can be found here, it is updated weekly.

To use the registration system, you must be a member and have registered your membership at Here you will also find an overview of the events you are registered for, as well as unsubscribing from the event so that others who want the place can take it. If you do not have a membership, you can find information on how to obtain it here.

Non-members have the opportunity to visit Samfundet at our restaurant, Lyche. In addition, all paid events will open for the sale of tickets to non-members 48 hours after the sale has opened for members. Free events and drop-in in the various premises (then excluding Lyche), are still reserved for members.
