Ski World Championships at Samfundet!
From February 26 to March 9, the Ski World Championships are coming to Trondheim. This will be a celebration like no other, and we can’t wait! At Samfundet, there will be plenty of fun activities to mark the occasion.
Located in Elgeseter gate 1, right across the bridge from the Nidaros Cathedral lies the Studentersamfundet in Trondhjem, or the Student Society of Trondheim. The big red house is owned by our 18,500 members and run by over 1,500 student volunteers. These volunteers do everything from DJing to preparing meals in our restaurant, Lyche. It is this volunteer-driven spirit that makes Samfundet truly unique compared to other cultural venues and nightlife spots in Trondheim.
Watch the Ski World Championships in Daglighallen!
Throughout the entire Ski World Championships, Daglighallen will be open, showing all the races on every screen! The bar offers a wide selection of tempting drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, so there’s something for everyone! From 4:00 PM, Samfundet’s other dining spots will also open, allowing you to buy food from there. Additionally, 7/11 with direct access to Samfundet will be open as usual, offering food you can bring inside!

Theme Party: Afterski
On Saturday, March 1, Samfundet is hosting a themed party: Afterski! The venue will be fully decorated for the occasion! There will be a concert with Rakkere, silent disco, kokerom, and much more!
