Do you want to draw for a newsletter?
As an illustrator you will work with journalists, photographers and graphic designers to illustrate for reportages, commentaries, causeries and reviews.
In Under Dusken we highly value the use of a variety of illustrations. We need creative and innovative minds who can illustrate with an original and unique stroke. We will especially need illustrations for commentary-articles and thematic articles, so drawings that reflect the articles accurately will therefore be very important. The magazine format of the newsletter, with its high quality print and paper, makes a perfect home for illustrations.
If you have a knack for drawing and if you are able to think creatively and cooperate well with others, then you may be the one we are looking for. As an illustrator you will mostly be able to adjust your own work-schedule, but some work on the weekends needs to be accounted for.
In your application we wish that you write about your qualifications and your motivations for wanting to be a part of the illustration department. When you apply, you will need to do a work-test drawing - either in a digital format or by bringing it to the interview.
