NTNU: Breakfast meeting: Unravelling the Brain's Mechanics
Join us for a unique public outreach event that invites you to see the brain from a fresh perspective - not just as a network of firing neurons, but as a complex, living structure shaped by mechanical forces.
Together with a neurologist, a physicist and a biologist, we’ll explore how the brain’s plumbing, fluid dynamics and elastic properties influence the health of our brain, and how we can measure these properties. This interdisciplinary conversation will bridge the microscopic world of cells and tissues with the large-scale functions of the brain, revealing how its physical makeup plays a crucial role in shaping who we are, and how our behaviour such as sleep, affect the brain.
This is more than a talk—it’s an invitation to rethink how the brain works. Whether you’re simply curious or deeply fascinated by how the body works, come discover brain mechanics
