Sara Fjeldvær writes music with lyrics and melody in the center - close and honest, personal and inviting.
These are twisted around each other in a dynamic soundscape that ranges from something fragile and low-key to a powerful, heartfelt form of rawness. As a songwriter with great influence by Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, and Robyn, Sara and the band combine these influences in an exploratory, varied and wide-ranging design. The whole thing is experienced best in live format where the music gets its own kind of glow.
