Killer Kid Mozart // Knaus

In a boys' room wallpapered with posters of old and new indie heroes such as Dinosaur Jr., Sonic Youth and Japandroids, frontman Hallvard Bonden wrote the lo fi treasure "For the Night". With this release, Killer Kid Mozart distinguished himself as an exciting and hungry band in the Norwegian underground, and the release garnered praise in, among others, the music magazine Gaffa, which hit with 6/6 stars.

After playing a number of club concerts, festivals and on all of Oslo's rock stages, the interaction has become sharper and the songs more outgoing. The band has tried to capture this on tape together with Morten Øby in Taakeheimen Lydrike. The album There's A Psycho Behind the Wheel, which came out this spring, is a half-hour hormonal journey through childhood memories, anxiety and the search for identity in the big city.
