Bijou: Lasse og Geir (1976)
Join us for a screening of the cult classic Lasse og Geir – an intense and authentic portrayal of youthful rebellion, solidarity, and life on the edge!
We follow Lasse and Geir, two rebellious youths, over the course of a few days in their lives. They are angry at society, politicians, and the elite, living by their own anarchistic rules. Conflicts arise everywhere – with parents, authorities, and the long arm of the law. Yet, they also show compassion, especially toward society's marginalized, and Geir shares a warm and loving bond with his younger brother. The film has become a Norwegian classic, capturing the experience of Norwegian youth in the 1970s.
