Avery is a 20-year-old rapper who grew up in Norway with roots in the Philippines. Based in Trondheim, he has quickly established himself as a fresh voice in Norwegian hip-hop. He is known for combining powerful storytelling and lyrical precision with warm, soul-inspired productions.

His 2024 EP Childhood Dreams, inspired by artists such as Dreamville, Saba, and Freddie Gibbs, received praise from NRK P3 for its melodic strength and playful approach to the genre. Since then, he has performed at Trondheim Calling 2025, and opened for both Ivan Ave – a recognized voice in international hip-hop – and Køber, a frontrunner in Norwegian old-school rap. In August, he performed at Øyafestivalen and joined GiddyGang as a guest artist at Parkteatret.

On August 15, AAvery released the collaborative album Familiar Times together with producers Martin Blom and Mikal Høstaker. The project dives deep into the neo-soul sound, drawing inspiration from The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest, D’Angelo, Terrace Martin, and many more.
