“Everybody rides the carousel" is an animated tracing of the eight stages of life, from infancy to old age, as they have been described in the works of psychoanalyst Erik H. Erikson.
This movie invites the viewer along on eight “rides” through the different stages of life. It explores the inner feelings and conflicted emotions experienced during each stage of personality development. With distinctive and poetic animation, the movie shows the conflicts, joys, problems and delights we all experience on the carousel of life.
