Øystein Sunde: Karusellskapssyk

Øystein Sunde plays Storsalen yet again!!

Tickets releases Wednesday 03.12 15:00!!

The show began its life at Chat Noir in the autumn of 2021, receiving dice-roll ratings of 5:
Aftenposten: A mature folk artist on new paths!
Nettavisen: A master of his own genre!
Dagsavisen: 50 years of success and still cheerful!

After the Chat Noir run, new songs have come sailing in, we are told, and the folk singer is clearly excited and eager for company in light of the new material.
There will be wry observations about everything we do in our daily lives, some revisits of songs and stories from a long life on stage and in the studio. And of course, a new chapter in “The Saga of Harald Jordfreser.”

Øystein Sunde’s solo career began at Dolphins folk club at Grensen 18 in Oslo in 1966.
“It was a club full of enthusiastic beginners in their late teens. You got to sit on a bar stool and sing three songs, and then the next person went up,” Sunde says of this time.
After four years on the stool, the first record came out, and his career truly took off.

Today, Sunde can look back on more than 50 years of history filled with album releases, show successes, TV productions, and collaborations with the best in Norwegian showbiz — Ingrid Bjørnov, Gitarkameratene, Halvdan Sivertsen, Eldar Vågan, Dizzie Tunes & Grethe Kausland, Hege Schøyen, and Vazelina Bilopphøggers, to name a few.

Welcome to a new show with Øystein Sunde!
