Skodde (@ottersbo & @guild.navigator.mp3) is a duo known for crafting driving, unpredictable soundscapes that blur the line between structure and chaos. Their music is dense with atmosphere, gritty textures, heavy-hitting precision, and rhythms that refuse to follow the usual path.
Since forming in 2021, they’ve released two albums, several EPs, and a steady stream of singles while performing across Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, Copenhagen, and beyond. As founders of Flux Collective, a hub for experimental club culture in Oslo, Skodde have become a vital force in the city’s underground scene.
Their sound has evolved from hypnotic techno into a psychedelic, trance-infused take on techno, weaving hypnotic grooves with warped melodies and deep, swirling atmospheres. Psy and trance elements pulse through their sets and productions, but always fractured and reimagined, built to move dancers while keeping them off balance.
Their drum programming stands out: broken, irregular, and often shifting mid-track. It’s not just about keeping time; it’s about reshaping it.
Live, Skodde is just as unpredictable. From tightly-wound DJ sets to raw, hardware-driven performances, they favor tension, surprise, and momentum over repetition, always chasing the moment where dancefloor hypnosis breaks open into something unknown.
