Planetariumviewing: Dreams (1990)

Dreams is an eight-parted film from Akira Kurosawa´s last years, inspired of the many dreams he had during his life. Each part discusses different themes like humans nature, life and death.
The film is praised for it´s strong visual style, and premiered in Cannes filmfestival 1990. Multiple well known American directors as George Lucas (Star Wars), Steven Spielberg (Jaws) was involved to get the film financed. Martin Scorsese (Taxi Driver) also plays a character in the film.
