VÅRKNIPA is an experimental pop band. The members are known from other bands such as Selma French, VALP, Moon Inhabitants, and Sophie Tudor.
In their music, lyrics and storytelling are central, featuring philosophical, abstract, and intimate narratives. Their rhythms and melodies are punk-infused, off-kilter, and danceable, drawing inspiration from improvisational music and Norwegian folk music.
At a VÅRKNIPA concert, you’ll hear it, feel it, and let yourself loose on the dance floor!
