Cïlja // 23.59
Cïlja is an exciting new voice in the Sámi music landscape, exploring a musical space where Sámi culture meets modern pop. She is one of the few South Sámi artists to combine tradition with contemporary expression in her music, and she is already in the process of finding her own place in the contemporary music scene.
Her music is inspired by artists such as Robyn and Sigrid, and balances electronic rhythms, soulful vocals, and honest lyrics. With a blend of melancholy and energy, she creates music that both moves and engages the listener. In 2024, she won the Sámi Grand Prix under the name “Bycecilia,” a milestone that marked the beginning of a promising career.
