Man is man's obsession
You, the Living was released in 2007 and directed by Roy Andersson. The film is known for its darkly humorous take on social issues and its static camera angles. It follows an angry woman, a heartbroken groupie, a carpenter, a businessman, a schoolteacher, and her carpet-selling husband.
The film is composed of fifty short sketches that flow into one another. It primarily features non-professional actors and has won several awards, including at the Chicago International Film Festival.
