Knitting-screening: Totally True Love (2011)🧶𓍯𓂃🧣
“There are some adults who think you don’t fall in love until you’re thirteen and in seventh grade. But you do. And some people are never as in love again in their entire lives as they were when they were ten and in fourth grade.” Bring your knitting or crochet supplies and join us for a film screening in the main hall!
Anne Lunde is ten years old and in love with Jørgen Ruge, but faces competition when the prettiest girl in the class falls for him too. In this film—based on the novel by Vigdis Hjorth—we are taken through both the thrills of first love and moments of eerie storytelling. Bring your knitting and let yourself be carried away on this nostalgic journey of childhood infatuation, friendship and drama, recess and bike rides in the Norwegian summer.
Before the film, there will be a panel conversation with Maria Annette Tanderø Berglyd, who played Anne in the movie. The panel starts at 19:00, and the film begins immediately afterward.
