Konradsen

Since 2019, the duo Konradsen—comprising Jenny Marie Sabel and Eirik Vildgren—has made its mark on the Norwegian indie scene with a distinctive and richly detailed sound. The album Hunt, Gather was produced by Hans Olav Settem and Marit Othilie Thorvik (Beharie, Ea Othilde, Jouska) in collaboration with the duo themselves. Much of the music was also co-written with Erlend Vesteraas and Ivar Myrset Asheim, both of whom are integral parts of the project. Konradsen’s music alternates between being romantic, playful, and sensitive, featuring brief glimpses of reality—such as snippets from old family videos and conversations with friends—interwoven with synths, piano, and a nuanced musical landscape. The result is a complex soundscape that feels both ethereal and intimate at the same time.

Konradsen celebrated their new album with a unique concert experience at MUNCH in Oslo on April 10 (sold out).
