With roots in the noisy spirit of ’90s rock, Of All Things have made their mark with powerful and melodic alternative rock. Drawing inspiration from bands such as Kent, Foals, and Sonic Youth, they create a sense of nostalgia while remaining firmly rooted in modern alt-rock. Since forming in 2020, the band has established themselves as a promising name on the Norwegian rock scene, known for their energetic and intense live performances.
Of All Things have played at industry festivals such as Vill Vill Vest, by:Larm, Trondheim Calling, and Live At Heart (Sweden), as well as embarking on their own headline tour in Norway. In the summer of 2025, they also appeared at festivals including Malstrømfestivalen, Rockstream, and the inaugural edition of Tundra and Lightning at USF Verftet in Bergen.
Their songs explore social issues such as class divisions and structural challenges, attracting attention from both critics and audiences. The band’s previous EP received excellent reviews, radio play, and recognition from NRK P3, where they were also named “Urørt of the Month” with the single Disco Biscuits.
In autumn 2024, they released their debut album, Falling In Line With The Person In Front Of You, which was also very well received. The album received airplay on P3 and P13, was named “Album of the Week,” and was recommended by outlets including GAFFA and Dagsavisen. In addition, Of All Things were named one of the three most exciting artists to watch in 2024 by Musikknyheter.
The band is now moving towards a rawer and more uncompromising sound, while preparing to release their second EP in November 2026.
