Christmas screening: Little Women (1994)
“I know Little Women isn't explicitly Christmas, but I love the Victorian holiday feel of it”
The 1994 version of Little Women marked the fifth time the original book was adapted into a major motion picture. It is a classic coming-of-age story that follows the four March sisters as they grow up around the time of the American Civil War in the mid-19th century. The book on which it is based is a two-part story loosely inspired by author Louisa May Alcott’s own upbringing.
