The Studentersamfundet Symphony Orchestra has been eagerly waiting for the chance to finally usher in the Christmas season. For many of us, Christmas is something that belongs a little to childhood, and we remember those Decembers well: the smell of Christmas, the excitement, and perhaps most of all, the sounds of the season!
Join us on a musical journey through the classic Christmas melodies that have accompanied us throughout our lives. We’ll meet Cinderella, the Nutcracker, and the children from the Polar Express, and revisit our favourite songs from the Christmas calendars we grew up watching.
We promise to fill Lademoen Church with Christmas music, joy, and all the magic that makes this season so special. Haven’t quite found your Christmas spirit yet? Perhaps you’ll find it with us!
The concert concludes with a sing-along of “Deilig er jorden” (“Fairest Lord Jesus”). And then, at last, we can breathe a sigh of relief and say:
