The Finance Board

The Finance Board (FS) is Samfundet's economic governing body. The Finance Board is responsible for managing Samfundet's wealth and management of the financial operations. The controlling body is Rådet. Decisions made by the Finance Board is important for the development of Samfundet and thus also for Samfundet's members stands as owners of Samfundet.

The Finance Board (FS) consists of 7-9 members and 3 permanent observers which have the right to speak and bring propositions. Studentersamfundet chooses 4-6 of the members, including the leader and deputy leader. The other 3 members of FS consist of the leader of Studentersamfundet, a representative with a deputy chosen by the employees and a representative chosen by the Groups. The three permanent observers are the managing director, leader of the Group secretary and the leader of UKA. On top of this a representative from the Council will be there as an observer.
