Opening Film: Another Round (2020)

A modern Danish classic about the ups and downs of alcohol

Inspired by the saying that “humans are born with a blood alcohol level of approximately minus 0.5,” four Danish high school teachers decide to conduct an experiment on themselves. Can their stable jobs and routine family lives be spiced up by maintaining a constant blood alcohol level of 0.5‰?

Much like Hemingway’s alleged drinking habits, they limit their alcohol intake to working hours. But what happens when both their professional and social performance seem to improve as their blood alcohol level rises? Could there be even more potential – and what exactly is the optimal blood alcohol level for happiness?

GiFU

GiFU is an Oslo-based Arctic Pop / Alt Rock band that wants to tear at your emotions!
With an honest and curious expression inspired by artists like Wolf Alice, Radiohead, and Big Thief, GiFU shifts between the fragile and the powerful—ranging from piano-based ballads with field recordings and soundscapes to energetic rock songs.

GiFU’s debut album “SunnGiFU” takes the listener on a journey through personal growth and the struggle to become the desired version of oneself. The album embraces the challenges of taking control of one’s own life and breaking free from limitations. “SunnGiFU” weaves together reflections from the past, while at the same time radiating anticipation and optimism toward a brighter future.

Hadrian

Hadrian is a five-piece band based in Trondheim, made up of musicians in their mid-20s. Their musical expression draws inspiration from sounds and artists within Funk, Indie, RnB, Soul, and Jazz—melted together into a Pop structure. The band strives to create music that grooves, is transparent, and distinctly their own. This includes catchy riffs and melodies, rich chords, tight interplay, and lyrics people can relate to.

HADRIAN was formed in 2024 and has since built up a solid repertoire of original songs. In June they took the stage at Habitat, and now they’re excited to play at Vuelie! In addition, the band is releasing their first singles this fall, with plans for more releases and concerts in the future!

21:00–02:00 // Klubben & Strossa

DJs

Tropical Guinness

The DJ duo Tropical Guinness delivers a global mix of everything from cumbia, amapiano, and Arab disco to psych, dub, and rare soul. Expect tropical jazz, Arabic synth-pop, early dancehall, French afro-house, and British rock. Always rhythmic, never predictable.

DJ Beinhard

DJ Beinhard usually plays at Trondheim’s infamous robot cage fights, but now he's coming to Samfundet to bring you the best from clubs in London, Tokyo, and Berlin. Get ready for nonstop bangers: trance, happy hardcore, jungle, and nightcore!

DJ Bebusk

Launches drums into space and lifts your feet off the ground with a blend of techno, garage, and DnB.
