Festmøte: Pride i et progressivt Ungarn
The first festive meeting of the year! Come celebrate Trondheim Pride with us at Samfundet this year, and learn something you didn't know about Hungarian and international Pride!
At this meeting, we wish to celebrate how far the Pride and LGBTQ+ movement has come globally, with a special focus on Hungary—a country that has seen tremendous recent progress and where people have fought for their rights under a restrictive regime. Tamás Dombos from the Hatter Society in Budapest will join us to discuss Pride in Hungary, while Mirza Andjelic, head of Oslo Pride’s international department, will offer a Norwegian perspective on international solidarity. For although the situation in Hungary represents a positive step forward in the struggle, much remains to be done before everyone in the world can truly be themselves without facing opposition.
Dresscode: Student galla!
Speakers:
Tamás Dombos: Heavily involved with Budapest Pride and the Hatter Society
Mirza Andjelic: Head of Oslo Pride’s international operations
