ISFiT presents: Veronica Maggio

In 2008 Veronica Maggio had her breakthrough with the album "Och Vinnaren Är...". The same year the hit-single "Måndagsbarn" went to the top of the VG list, and since then we've seen hits like "Jag kommer", "Snälla bli min" and "Hela Huset". Earlier this year she released her 5th studio album "Den förste är älltid gratis", and the title track was once again recurring at Norwegian radio.

With her personal lyrics and pop melodies of high quality she's become one of Swedens most awarded artits, with 5 Grammis, 2 P3 Gull, 3 Rockbjørner and 3 Gaffa-awards.

Support: Ine Hoem

The voice of Ine Hoem hits you straight in the heart. She has a strong vocal sound, which has elements from both electronical pop-music and the jazz universe. During the winter of 2015 she released the critically acclaimedalbum "Angerville", along with the single "This Year". This resultet in a lot of air time on the radio. She has spent the last year in a studio on Gotland, Sweden, together with the producer Tobias Fröberg (Ane Brun, Loreen, Anna Bergendahl) and the musicians Lars Skoglund (Lykke Li) and Robert Elovsson (Robyn).

This work has resulted in the album "Moonbird", which will be released on the 10th of February 2017. With "Moonbird" Ine Hoem plunges into a dark fairytale world, with Kate Bush and Lykke Li as references.
