We are painting a wall!
Vilde Rudjord graduated in 2022 with a master's degree in fine art from the Art Academy in Trondheim. Rudjord's portfolio shows a wide use of techniques and media, but her main area of expertise is painting and installation. Her imagery is colorful and often contains humorous elements, although her works have to do with complicated themes.
"Polarization, a word we've heard thrown around in recent years. What does it really mean? The groups in society are moving farther and farther apart. Communication breaks down, we live in parallel realities. Polarization is a property of light and other waves that are split and sent in opposite directions because they are broken by surfaces that give them different starting points. Yes, that's naïve, but maybe it's like that with us too?" - Vilde
