Theme Party Manager

Job as Gjengmedlem
This is an indication of how much work this job amounts to. A gjengmedlem is expected to work 10 hours a week, while a funksjonær is expected to work 20 hours a week. In comparison, funksjonærer have more benefictions than gjengmedlemmer.

Are you a creative go-getter with crazy and creative ideas?

Are you a creative go-getter with crazy and creative ideas who's looking for an arena where these ideas can come to life? Then Theme Party Manager on the Event Board is the position for you! As Theme Party Manager in Event, you'll have main responsibility for the planning and execution of the big theme party during ISFiT2027! This includes choosing the theme and designing the venue layout for the theme party. In addition, you'll take part in weekly board meetings, and during the festival you'll share duty shifts as "daghavende" (day manager) together with the rest of the Event Board.
As part of the Event Board, you'll gain insight into how Samfundet works, as well as knowledge of what it takes to bring cultural events from idea to execution. Event has the main responsibility for carrying out all the cultural events taking place at Samfundet. You'll therefore get to know Samfundet well as a cultural venue, and you'll connect with many exciting people both in ISFiT and at Samfundet!
If you're interested and/or want to know more about the position, feel free to get in touch! I'd be happy to have a no-obligation coffee chat about the position and ISFiT!
