Be the key in one of ISFiTs most important projects

With a festival bringing together more than 350 participants from all over the world, we depend on a dedicated project lead for The Housing Project. In this role, you will gain valuable experience in leadership, coordination, and collaboration with external stakeholders at a level few students have the opportunity to experience.

This is a position that naturally connects you with all parts of ISFiT, as you will be working across multiple sections. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to build networks and relationships with key community stakeholders in Trondheim.

But what does it take to be a project lead? Most importantly, you need to be comfortable delegating and coordinating. The role is primarily about maintaining oversight, driving progress, and ensuring strong collaboration, rather than carrying out every task yourself. As a result, you will get to know people from across the organization.

The Housing Project includes:

• Promoting The Housing Project to residents of Trondheim Municipality.
• Coordinating host assignments for participants.
• Managing communication between ISFiT27 and host families.
• Collaborating with stakeholders in Trondheim to secure additional accommodation for participants who are not matched with a host.
• Responding to questions from both hosts and participants throughout the festival.

This is a unique opportunity to develop skills in project management, relationship building, and strategic coordination. You will receive extensive support throughout the process and work closely with the leaders of Big Board, as responsibilities and tasks are shared across multiple sections.

As Project Lead, you will also have the opportunity to recruit your own team members if you would like to build a dedicated team, rather than working exclusively across existing sections.
