Are you curious about recruitment and do you have a good eye for people? Do you want to help make the selection of international participants as fair as possible? Do you have strong communication skills and love the idea of building connections across borders while contributing to the world's largest international student festival? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you should apply to become a Participant Organizer for ISFiT27!
As a Participant Organizer (PO), you will play a crucial role in reading and evaluating applications from thousands of prospective participants. Guided by the leader team, and alongside the rest of the Participant Coordination team, you will help shape the festival by selecting the individuals who get to attend ISFiT27.
Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with the team to establish criteria for evaluating participant applications, ensuring inclusion, fairness, and consistency in the process.
Organizing evaluation sessions, including dedicated application review weekends together with the Participant Coordination team.
Managing the Premium Ambassador Program and securing spots for its participants.
Drafting invitation and rejection letters, and coordinating with the finance team to ensure fair funding distribution.
Participating in the development of communication systems alongside the web and dialogue teams to ensure efficient email distribution.
Confirming participation from invited applicants and coordinating visa checks.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects like ISFiT Rail and Arrival Day, enriching the overall experience for all participants.
