Do you want to create something that stops people in their tracks? Are you the type who looks at a dumpster and thinks «that could be so much more»? Do you like turning ideas into something tangible?
As a Builder at ISFiT, your job is to make people curious about the world's largest international student festival. Not with words, but with physical things. You will create installations and stands that pop up across the city and make people stop, laugh, think, or ask «what actually is ISFiT?». Sparking the answer to that question is your job.
You will work with everything from planning and sketching to sawing, screwing, painting and carrying. You think creatively about materials and solutions, and aren't afraid to try something that hasn't been done before. Maybe you build something people want to touch and interact with. Something they can play with. Maybe something they didn't know they needed to see.
We are looking for someone who is practically minded and creatively driven. Whether you've been woodworking since childhood or just discovered you're pretty good with gaffer tape and a solid idea, we'd love to hear from you.
As a builder, you will work closely with the other builders in the Creative Outreach team, and become part of the wider communications section. This is a gjengmedlem position which, in accordance with Samfundet's guidelines, is set up for approximately 10 hours of work per week.
