Help lead and create good debates!

Are you someone who loves discussing and debating, but also thrives when staying organized and helping others excel? Are you passionate about current events and want to lead the process of bringing incredibly cool people to Trondheim?

Then the position of assistant manager of debate and discussion is the perfect fit for you!

As assistant manager, you will be my closest sparring partner and a key player in ISFiT-27. You’ll help shape the debates while building and leading the team. This is a unique opportunity to gain leadership experience in a supportive environment, where we’ll set the agenda for the festival together.

You don’t need any prior experience, as long as you’re motivated, organized, and excited to create an awesome section with me. As assistant manager, you will:
Be my right hand: We’ll collaborate on everything from big-picture visions to small logistical tasks.
Focus on the team: You’ll ensure that everyone in the debate team is doing well, feels included, and knows their responsibilities.
Ensure smooth flow and communication: You’ll help keep things organized, whether it’s meeting structures, deadlines, or coordinating with other sections in ISFiT.

One of the best parts of being assistant manager is the close bond you’ll share with the whole crew. We’re going to be a tight-knit group that always supports one another. There will be plenty of social events, lots of laughter, and you’re guaranteed to make new friends. We’re creating something big together, and we’re going to have a blast doing it!
