Do you want to follow up on former winners of the Student Peace Prize?

The Peace Project is a flexible, creative role where you will have a great deal of freedom to help shape the project's content. The work is developed in dialogue with previous prize winners and in collaboration with the rest of the Peace Project committee and the Student Peace Prize board.

As a member of the Peace Project, you will help plan, develop, and implement a project that follows up on one or more previous winners of the Student Peace Prize. The goal is to strengthen long-term connections with the laureates, create positive, lasting effects from the prize, and ensure that the Student Peace Prize remains a visible and relevant platform.

The project can take many forms. For example, it may involve supporting the work of previous laureates, communication and outreach projects, art and cultural initiatives, collaboration with other organizations, or new ways of engaging students in peace work. You will help shape what this year’s Peace Project will look like.

Examples of what you may work on:

  • Helping shape, plan, and carry out this year’s Peace Project
  • Communicating and collaborating with one or more previous winners of the Student Peace Prize
  • Developing ideas and activities together with the rest of the project committee
  • Contributing to collaborations with organizations, events, or the dissemination of the project
  • Participating in work related to visibility, partnerships, or funding

We are looking for several people to join the committee. There will also be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities, for example as Assistant Head of the Peace Project, if relevant. We aim to build the committee so that roles and responsibilities can be adapted to your experiences, interests, and strengths.

You do not need prior experience with similar project work - the most important qualities are engagement, reliability, and a willingness to learn along the way.

Send a short application and tell us why you would like to help shape the Peace Project!

I am available via email or phone if you have any questions or would like to discuss the role further. I would also be happy to invite you for coffee, tea, or cocoa for an informal chat about the position, the Student Peace Prize, and the Peace Project. I look forward to hearing from you! <3
