Head of Ceremony
Are you interested in culture and curious about what it’s like to work with cultural events?
Are you wondering what it’s like to lead a team? Do you enjoy collaborating with others and meeting new people from Trondheim and all over the world? Are you intrigued by the theme Changing Winds and want to explore how it can be expressed through three different ceremonies? Then you should apply to be the Head of Ceremony!
As Head of the Ceremony Team, you’ll be part of ISFiT’s Culture Board and lead the team responsible for creating the festival’s ceremonies. The Culture Board, together with the rest of the Culture Section, develops the entire cultural program for the festival from beginning to end. You’ll take part in both the planning and execution and have the freedom to shape which events you and your team want to bring to life.
The Ceremony Team is responsible for creating, organizing, and carrying out three of the festival’s key events: the Opening Ceremony, the Student Peace Prize Ceremony and the Closing Ceremony.
As team leader, you’ll oversee the entire process of these events from the creative and conceptual work to practical implementation, all while drawing inspiration from the festival’s theme Changing Winds. You’ll also collaborate across sections, particularly with the Peace Prize team to create the Student Peace Prize Ceremony. Leadership responsibilities like logistics, budgeting, and taking care of your team will also be part of the role.
What do you think it takes to create a meaningful and beautiful ceremony?
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to grab a coffee and chat informally about the position — no obligations tied to asking or meeting up.
Hope to hear from you!
